Amalthea's final design was accomplished traditionally...with a little digital help. The turnarounds were done on tracing paper for the body and clothing layers; I scanned each layer, edited them together, and printed each out on heavier paper to then color with alcohol markers. I re-colored her head/pants/etc for every turnaround.
Some concept work was done digitally on page 9. Page 1's art is the traditional design on page 3 digitally manipulated with a digital raster drawing I did. Everything else is traditional using ink, graphite, and alcohol markers.
